With
more than 3 decades of mortgage experience,
George has demonstrated his commitment to
serving others, especially senior homeowners.
He is an educational subscriber of the Massachusetts
Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys, has authored numerous articles
on senior financing and related issues, and
is a frequent guest speaker on radio shows
and in public forums promoting senior education
and best practices for retirement planning.
George is also a member of the Board of Directors
of the National Association of Mortgage Lenders,
a Past Chairman of the Massachusetts Mortgage
Association, a Past Chairman of the Greater
Boston Food Bank, and a Past President of
the Boston College Alumni Association. In
addition, he was a co-founder and Past Chair
of Christmas In April*Boston (now Rebuilding
Together Boston), a charity that repairs and
refurbishes the homes of low income and needy
families and senior homeowners in the Greater
Boston area.
Chris Downey, President
Leading
the Harbor team of experienced mortgage professionals,
along with his dad, George, Chris is responsible
for the oversight of conventional mortgage
activities at Harbor, as well as general management
of the firm.
A graduate of Providence College with a B.S.
degree in accounting, Chris began his career
as a Registered Representative and Operations
Manager at a securities broker dealership before
joining Harbor Mortgage in 1986 as a mortgage
loan originator. Chris was named Vice-President
of Harbor Mortgage Solutions in 1997, and succeeded
his father as President in 2004. Chris has also
been an active volunteer in community service
programs, including Big Brothers Big Sisters,
the Greater Boston Food Bank, Second Helping,
and Rebuilding Together Boston (formerly Christmas
In April * Boston). |

John Johnson, Reverse Mortgage Consultant
A retired civil trial attorney, John now educates and counsels
fellow senior citizens about reverse mortgages
and other financing options. John lives on Cape
Cod and serves senior homeowners in southern
Massachusetts.
A graduate of Boston College with a B.S. degree in History and
Government, John received his L.L.B. degree from
Boston College Law School. In addition to his
position at Harbor Mortgage, John is an active
member of several civic organizations, including
the Bourne, MA Local Comprehensive Planning
Committee and the Bourne, MA Charter Review
Committee. He is also a Director of the Pocasset
Village Association. |

Jim Ennis, Reverse Mortgage Consultant
Jim began his sales career in the printing industry, and
transitioned to mortgage origination several
years ago after gaining valuable experience in
both conventional mortgages and reverse
mortgages. Jim specializes in educating seniors
and their families on the various financing
options available to them in addition to
explaining prospective benefits a reverse
mortgage might provide.
Jim received his B.A. degree in Legal Studies
from Quinnipiac College in Hamden, CT. |

Bob Barry, Reverse Mortgage Consultant
Bob is well suited for his role at Harbor Mortgage Solutions as he
meets with senior homeowners and their families
and educates them about their financing options
and reverse mortgages. Previously, Bob had
gained 20 years of experience in the insurance
and financial services industry.
A graduate of Boston College with a B.A. degree
in Business Administration, Bob received his
M.B.A. from Suffolk University in Boston. He is
a member of the Purchasing Managers Association
of Boston, and served as a Past President of
Canton Youth Soccer. |

Patti Schiappa, Reverse Mortgage Consultant
Patti's
career as a reverse mortgage consultant
originated as the result of her own experience
helping her father evaluate the various
considerations of a reverse mortgage. A true
skeptic at first, the more she learned the more
she realized the potential impact reverse
mortgages can have in improving the security and
quality of life for seniors. This experience
motivated Patti to make a career change,
concentrating her time and energy on serving the
needs of other seniors and their families as a
reverse mortgage consultant at Harbor Mortgage
Solutions.
Patti is a licensed real estate agent and is pursuing her
accreditation as a Certified Senior Advisor
(CSA). She is also a member of the South Shore
Women's Business Network.
Robert Donahue, Reverse Mortgage Consultant
A
seasoned educator, Robert has shifted his focus
from instructing youths to educating seniors on
different methods of living with dignity in
their golden years. A retired special education
teacher who has taught in both the Milton, MA
and Boston Public School systems, Robert is a
member of the Boston Teacher's Union and the
American Federation of Teachers.
A graduate of Boston University, Robert received
his M.A. from Lesley College. |
